With Summer 2016 fast approaching, Veluxity has refreshed our Lamborghini fleet presenting clients with the all new 2016 Lamborghini Huracán LP-580-2 in Rosso Mars (Red) and the 2016 Lamborghini Huracán LP-610-4 in Bianco Isis (White). “The Lamborghini Huracán models are the fastest production Lamborghini’s ever, bar none” says Ronald, Veluxity’s Owner and Founder. “When clients call our corporate office looking for an exotic car, 9 out of 10 times they’ll end up in one of our Huracán LP’s because we’re just that excited about them”. For the readers who have never heard of the Huracán, it is Lamborghini’s replacement for the Gallardo which is hard to believe given it’s mind-numbing 0-60 sprint of 2.5 seconds and unbelievably aggressive stance and styling. “We honestly have had trouble renting the Aventador lately because every employee who has driven the Huracán swears it’s faster and better built then our Aventador” Ronald says with a puzzled look on his face “With the refresh coming, the Aventador better have something incredible to show us”.

Fast forward a couple hours after sharing a couple shots of cuban coffee, I was handed the key to the Rosso Mars Huracán LP-580-2 which upon seating feels more like a fighter jet than a supercar. My hands were immediately drawn to the two jumbo sized paddles which lie comfortably behind the Formula one style steering wheel. After applying my foot to the brake pedal I started the Huracán which growled for several seconds before warming up. As I pushed the paddle forward and began to roll forward, excitement flooded through my veins. As I pulled out of the rather steep landing I was pleased to find the familiar hydraulic lift which lifts the front end a couple of additional inches to ensure the Huracáns bumper stays intact and the owner, sane. I was amazed by the unbelievably smooth and seamless ride the Huracán offered in “Strada” mode, which is basically the non-sport mode for the Lamborghini models. However, once shifted into “Corsa” the LP-580-2 becomes nothing short of the kicking bull that has been the face of the brand since its conception. As I downshifted for a 2nd Gear pull on Miami’s infamous A1A I truly took in this incredible experience as I drove this 572 horsepower Lamborghini facing beautiful Downtown Miami to my left and Palm Island to my right I thought “yes, this was the Miami I read about, this was Veluxity”.

Now, onto the most important part of this article which would be, how do you go about renting a Veluxity™ exotic car? The process is relatively straight forward, you'll have to possess a full coverage driver insurance on an existing vehicle, leave a $1,000 security deposit for incidentals (this usually is used to cover unforeseen scratches on wheels, dings in doors etc.), and you'll have to be 25 or older, sorry kids! But what usually plagues renters the most is not these policies that are in place, rather the fact that figuring out which car to choose can be daunting! With over 20 cars to choose from in Miami and NYC it can make this type of decision a tough one!
